With 25 years and counting of experience, dedication, and hard work, her remarkable career serves as an inspiration to many in the field.

Dedicated Civil Engineer and Industry Leader
Instilled with the values of hard work, perseverance, and faith by her late parents, Elsie and Capt. Lawreano Tan Jr. and siblings, she pursued her passion for engineering and became a licensed Civil Engineer, holding both a PRC Civil Engineer License and Material Engineer II License.
With over 25 years of experience, her career has spanned multiple sectors, including engineering, testing, inspection, training, and certification. She dedicated her eight years as a Materials Engineer on the Philippine-Japan Friendship Highway Projects across Mindanao and Visayas, contributing to the development of roads, highways, bridges, and Philippine Ports Authority projects such as the Davao Port Expansion and General Santos Port Construction.
Her expertise opened doors to international opportunities, including a pivotal role in Dubai’s infrastructure development. As a Senior QA/QC Engineer at Obayashi Corporation, She contributed to the Dubai Metro Rail – Green Line Overground (North 2 section). Her commitment to quality not only strengthened the team’s performance but also contributed to the project’s early completion and recognition for exceptional workmanship.
Building on these experiences, she transitioned into the standardization industry, where she spent the past 13 years applying her expertise and dedication. This journey led to the establishment of IPS Certification Services in Dubai, UAE. Under her leadership—supported by investor trust, client patronage, her dedicated team, and Divine intervention—IPS has expanded its services across certification, training, inspection, and testing, with offices in the UK, Jordan, Pakistan, KSA, and Egypt.
As Operations Manager and Business Partner, She played a key role in securing internationally recognized accreditations from the Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) and GCC Accreditation Center (GAC). Additionally, she facilitated approvals from Civil Defense authorities in GCC countries, SASO/SABER in KSA, and the Egyptian Organization for Standardization & Quality (EOS). Her Filipino values, combined with her expertise, leadership, and faith, continue to drive her commitment to excellence in engineering and standardization on a global scale.
Over the years, she have further strengthened her qualifications and completed the following among other courses:
- Project Management Professional
- ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 Lead Assessor
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor and Trainer
- Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody - Category 1 and Category 2 Lead Auditor
- Product Certification Lead Technical Auditor (Fire Resistance, Reaction to Fire, Smoke, and Acoustics)
